Without ClockWorkMod can you do anything? Obviously NO! so mostly every device gets ClockWorkMod recovery when it's rooted. High-end devices like Samsung Galaxy S4 got the CWM in just 1-2 days, and that's too fast. If you are having a ROM, Mod, application (flashable like TouchWiz UI) then you cannot do anything with them untill you have ClockWorkMod Recovery installed/flashed on your android device. HTC is one of the best mobile sellers in market and their HTC M7 is the best device I like from HTC. HTC M7 has got 4.7-inch S-LCD 3 capacitive Touchscreen with scratch-resistant glass, Android 4.1.2 OS in it (it should be Android 4.2, but it was released ago). With the super fast 1.7 GHz Quad-Core Krait 300 Processor, it can fly up to sky! Not only this, it has 2 GB of RAM which is sufficient for everyone and gives smooth performace. Rear camera is of 13 MegaPixels (4128x3096 Pixels) with Auto Focus and LED Flash whereas the front camera is of 2.0 MP Camera (1600x1200 Pixels). You get other features in camera like BSI, Geo-Tagging, Smile detection, face detection, HDR and Burst mode features. HD video recording is provided in it. This handset supports 4G Lite, enjoy blazing speed of 4G!
Okay, we were talking about ClockWorkMod recovery for HTC M7 and I want to tell some newbies that there are many types of recoveries- ClockWorkMod (CWMR), TWRP recovery, COT and other recoveries but ClockWorkMod is best and most stable recovery for Android user. You might be thinking that then what does the Stock recovery do? It's of no use, it is used on some older devices to flash stock ROM in their devices.
I would be providing you with 3 types of recoveries- 1 ClockWorkMod Recovery, 2 ClockWorkMod Recovery '2', TWRP- 'Team Win Recovery Project', now it's your decision to install which one. ClockWorkMod is best recovery but TWRP Recovery offers you some features like touch to select. Even ClockWorkMod offers this too but TWRP offers some more featuers like you can rename the Nandroid backup as you want. You can see how much % battery is charged and other things.
1 HTC One charged up to 60% or you can use charger while installing it (when you will connect USB, it will charge! and we need to connect to USB for flashing the recovery)
2 Unlock your HTC One's Bootloader. It is easy, you can do this by visiting official HTC website for unlocking bootloader- Click M7. Select the device and see how to unlock the Bootloader.
3 Download original HTC drivers from D-host (Dev host) and install in your PC. After installing them, reboot your computer. Click here to download HTC M7 (One) driver.
4 Custom Recovery, there are three recoveries, choose one of which you like!

Now, it will reboot to Custom Recovery (TWRP/CWM/CWM). Now, you can root your android device easily by using some flash able zips. You can Google guides for Rooting HTC One M7. So, that was it. Please share if it works!
